Childhood and family Lucyna Kazmierczak (née Dolak), was born on 13th January 1953 in Goliszew, as the third, the youngest child of Marianna (née Ludwiczak) and Marian Dolak. Her brothers, Józef and Kazimierz, were seventeen and eleven years then. As she says, she was the apple of the eye for the whole family. Lucyna's father was a Chairman of the Council in Tykadłow between 1948 - 1956. He was also known for his passion for playing the violin. The eldest brother, Józef, was a police officer, the younger one was a construction worker and took care of interior finishing. Both are already on their pensions. Lucyna Dolak married Antoni Kazmierczak, a farmer, on 3rd June 1972 in Goliszew. They have two daughters - Anna (Sar) (b. 1/12/1973) and Ewa (Błażejewska) (b. 7/16/1976), and three grandchildren - Jakub, Szymon and Bartłomiej. Education She attended a primary school in Goliszew in years 1960 - 1968, and she spent the next four years in the III High School Nicolaus Copernicus (formerly Anne the Jagiellonian). Years 2002 - 2003 passed in the College of Humanities in Kalisz, where she learned the basics of psychology and sociology. She still eagerly reads not only fiction but also science, with a particular fondness of psychology books. Work In 1974, she joined the Agricultural Cooperative "Peasant Self-Help." Until 1990, she worked there as a senior cataloguer, and later as a planner. For the next 12 years (1990-2002) she was running a cafe "The spring" and the general store "Lucy". In years 1994 - 1998 she was a councilor in the municipality, and then, from 1998 to 2002, the county councilor. In 2002, she won the competition for the director of the Municipal Cultural Centre in the village Żelazków and so she began her .... ...artistic and cultural activities. A need to create a center of culture and entertainment and folk band was reported by the residents of the municipality to the mayor. He announced a contest for the director of the Centre, and Lucyna Kazmierczak won. She was the one who has taken on the task of creating a folk band. The opening ceremony of the Cultural and Community Centre took place on 22nd September 2002. The band "Niechcice" (the name given partially because of the sentiment to Maria Dabrowska who was born in the nearby Russow, and partly from the uncertainty, whether they will be wanted or maybe "un-wanted") within the next 14 years conquered the residents' of the municipality hearts, adding splendor to communal celebrations, festivals and local events. Lucyna Kazmierczak involved children from municipal schools. From the day of their first show up to the celebration of Women's Day in 2015, the band already played within the municipality and beyond 346 times. People involved in the band freely wear a variety of outfits, from the folk ones through fun costumes appropriate to the event, to outfits resembling the ancient Greeks turned into women for the time of the play. Scenarios and humorous texts created by Mrs. Lucyna together with enthusiasm of the folk band members gained appreciation not only in the country. In 2004, "Niechcice" crossed the country and appeared in Marienburg on Polish Day celebrations. Mrs. Kazmierczak's concern about the tradition and culture and contribution of the whole band soon filled their shelves and chronicles with... ...prizes, awards, badges. A thick volume of one of the chronicles involves all kinds of thanks and admiration for Mrs Kazmierczak's writing talent and dedication of the entire band. Part of the awards and diplomas can be seen at GOK in Żelazków. Proudly displayed on the walls motivate to further effords. Starting with thanks for taking part in the celebration of Seniors' Days, Pierzok, Festival of Tastes, Harvest Festival, Pyrczoka and diplomas for their involvement until the prize for the contribution to the development of the entire county - the list goes on and reminds all 346 performances. The importance of the character for the local community. For the past several years, Lucyna Kazmierczak turned out to be the person whose significance for the community's is hard not to appreciate. She involved in the life of the community and is happy to be a team leader of "Niechcice" and a director of GOK. With enthusiasm and humor, which we often lack in everyday life, she enriches the lives of the municipality, involves children, youth and adults to join projects. She takes care of the tradition and tries to make it more than just an empty word, showing long forgotten habits to children in each village, and recalling the older residents what it was like "in days of yore".
